DHT blockers
We have enzymes called 5-alpha reductase, which convert testosterone into dihydrotestosterone or DHT. DHT sticks to the hair follicles and causes them to atrophy and eventually stop growing. Inhibitors of DHT binding inhibit their binding to the hair follicle and thus stop hair loss.
